During the past few days of being in the sunny north-east asian indo-south, I can't help but to compare 2 beautiful summer destinations from each other; Bali (Kuta) and Phuket (Patong). I've been to both places and am sure both are just on par in terms of their own standards and characteristics. If you do a bit of research online, different people will have different opinions of which one's better, judging from their personal unique taste and of course, motives. But looking closely, I did find Kuta's atmosphere kinda more laid back with the night life scene less chaotic as compared to the busy district of Patong.
I'm not sure which one I prefer, but I guess I'm leaning towards Bali. Just cause I'm as laid back as I can be.

How beautiful! And you are so lucky that you can travel so easily to such a lovey place! very jealous.

Sounds like Kuta would be the place for me!
I would dig the laid back atmosphere.
Hmm yea true, it's quite easy to travel around the neighboring south east asian countries but...it'll be awesome if I travel to western countries for a change!
