Bali 2012

Lembongan Village, Indonesia, November 2012
During the past few days of being in the sunny north-east asian indo-south, I can't help but to compare 2 beautiful summer destinations from each other; Bali (Kuta) and Phuket (Patong). I've been to both places and am sure both are just on par in terms of their own standards and characteristics. If you do a bit of research online, different people will have different opinions of which one's better, judging from their personal unique taste and of course, motives. But looking closely, I did find Kuta's atmosphere kinda more laid back with the night life scene less chaotic as compared to the busy district of Patong.
I'm not sure which one I prefer, but I guess I'm leaning towards Bali. Just cause I'm as laid back as I can be.

Shores of Sanur, Bali.

Fast cruise from the shores of Sanur to the village of Nusa Lembongan.

And then we we're off to Nusa Penida for Snorkeling...

  1. How beautiful! And you are so lucky that you can travel so easily to such a lovey place! very jealous.
The Gulf Cost (nearest beach to me) does not even compare to such a place.
Sounds like Kuta would be the place for me!
I would dig the laid back atmosphere.

    1. Hmm yea true, it's quite easy to travel around the neighboring south east asian countries but...it'll be awesome if I travel to western countries for a change!
Oh yea, if ever one day you felt like going round south asia, don't forget Bali:)
